As part of the Heritage & Exile concert series, Initiative pour la Liberté Artistique (ILA) is proud to present Maryna Krut, a leading figure in Ukrainian music, on Sunday, April 6th at 5:00 PM at Studio de Agostini – Conservatoire Populaire de Genève.
A virtuoso of the bandura, Ukraine’s iconic instrument, Maryna Krut blends ancestral traditions with contemporary sounds, creating deeply emotional and evocative music. Through her compositions, she embodies the cultural resilience of a country at war, carrying the memory and identity of Ukraine through her melodies. This concert is part of ILA’s mission to support artists in exile and preserve endangered cultural heritage. An evening where music becomes an act of resistance and transmission.
