Ana Carla Maza, a Cuban cellist, singer, and composer, is a volcanic artist who unfolds a rich spectrum of colors and emotions, moving seamlessly between tenderness and intensity.

As part of her ALAMAR Tour 2026, she performs in a trio format (cello, vocals, keyboards, and percussion). Her show is a vibrant and energetic blend of jazz, classical music, and Latin rhythms – offering a joyful and unrestrained ode to femininity and the Caribbean. The performance lasts approximately 75 to 90 minutes.

This concert is presented as part of the “Heritage & Exile” series by the Geneva-based organization Artistic Freedom Initiative, which supports censored and persecuted artists through legal assistance for relocation, logistical support, and artistic development. The organization also advocates for artistic freedom at the international level and conducts research on its global state, while actively working to preserve cultural heritage in exile.

Support ILA’s Work

As censorship rises and artists are targeted for speaking truth to power, protecting creative voices has never been more urgent. Since 2024, ILA has supported over 100 courageous artists who continue making art even when it places them at risk. Your contribution ensures artists can keep creating, sharing, and inspiring change—protecting both their voices and the right to artistic freedom worldwide.
